Womens Croft II Yoke Fair Isle Jumper - red
Womens Croft II Yoke Fair Isle Jumper - red
Description
Description
A soft Donegal flecked yarn is used in this womens jumper which sets it apart from other fair isles. This is a new, smoother yarn than we previously used, that still has the same donegal fleck but is kinder to those with very sensitive skin as it is less textured. The colours are echoed in the fair isle patterns used across the yoke. In the Red colourway a dark red is teamed with brighter scarlet, navy and bright blue. This jumper is knitted in the traditional way “in the round” so is seamless. It has a ribbed crew neck, hem and cuffs.
Available in sizes XS (UK 8) to XXL (UK 18/20). Our Croft yoke jumper is in our "comfort" fit for a modern look, Perfect for relaxed weekends and lazy days. Our S(tall) has been made for our customers who have a slim but taller body shape as it has been made with extra length in the back and sleeve lengths. Both S and S(tall) have a chest measurement of approximately 19 1/4" (49cm) armpit to armpit. However, the length is S 22 1/2" (58cm) and S(tall) 25" (64cm). The sleeve length is about 2" longer in the S(tall). Back length of the Medium size is approximately 24 1/2" inches (62cm).

Designers notes - the inspiration behind Croft pattern
The "Croft" was the first pattern I ever designed for The Croft House and remains my signature style. Unusually, I choose a flecked "Donegal" wool for the body of the knit to evoke the rustic nature of the crofting way of life.
