We are proud to announce that The Croft House is a B Corp Certified business
B Corp Certification means that our company has voluntarily met high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials. To achieve certification, a company must:
- Demonstrate high social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above.
- Make a legal commitment by changing their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
- Exhibit transparency by allowing information about their performance measured against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.

Becoming B Corp certified is a rigorous and lengthy process, achieved by receiving accreditation from B Lab, which is a non-profit company that measures a company's social and environmental performance against the standards in the online B Impact Assessment. There are over 9500 Certified B Corps in 102 countries across 160 different industries.
B Corp Certification is holistic, not exclusively focused on a single social or environmental issue. It shows that we are part of a global community of businesses working collectively for economic systems change, and that we have committed to continued improvement to meet rising standards for social and environmental performance and further assessment processes.
Our B Impact Score
Since the beginning, The Croft House has had at its core, the values of being a sustainable business which is doing the right thing for both people and planet. We were delighted to therefore achieve a B Impact Score of 80.4
Due to the timescale the assessment focussed upon, we have already made improvements to some areas, such as our pledge to give 1% of SALES for People and Planet, showing our drive for continuous improvement.
