Stockbridge Fair isle Cowl Scarf - Grey
Stockbridge Fair isle Cowl Scarf - Grey
Description
Description
A soft lambswool cowl scarf in our "Stockbridge" fair isle pattern. Featuring a modern fair isle pattern on one side and birds-eye pattern on the reverse, it can be worn on either side for a change of look. With no loose stitches on the back you won't snag on jewellery when taking it on and off. This style of scarf is more compact than a traditional scarf so is great for popping in your bag. Wear it above or below coats and jackets as a neck warmer, and when the weather gets cold pull it up further like a snood. It's perfect when a normal scarf would get in the way such as gardening and skiing. This colourway combines grey with a pop of colour in acid yellow.
Matching wrist warmer fingerless gloves and Beanie hat in our "Stockbridge" fair isle pattern available.
Also co-ordinates with our lambswool gloves and beanie hats in Mid Grey.
100% finest British-spun lambswool

Designers notes - the inspiration behind Stockbridge pattern
This pattern was inspired by the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh. While only a 10 minute walk from Edinburgh city centre, it has a village feel and it's great to explore the numerous small shops and cafes. The pattern mixes a formal larger scale pattern reminiscent of heavy Damask-style fabrics with modern geometric motifs representing where the old and new combine.
