The fashion industry has long been criticised for it's use of young, overly-skinny models on the catwalk. In today's society where we talk about diversity and acceptance more than ever, there are changes being made. Some stores are now featuring mannequins with more diverse body shapes so customers can see garments on models more representative of their own body type. On the catwalk, some designers are also showing more diversity and it is becoming more common in advertising.
At The Croft House we have a very wide age range of customers for our knitwear from 18 to 80+. While we have always used younger models in photographs to represent our clothing, for 2020 we hope to show our clothing being worn by both younger and more mature women.
The Croft House are on the hunt for a mature female model who will be available for a half day shoot in a photographic studio near to ABERDEEN on Wednesday 22nd April. No experience is necessary although she should feel comfortable in front of the camera and a studio environment with quick outfit changes with help from our all-female team. Reimbursement will be given.
We require a lady with silver or grey hair cut to bob length or longer. She is required to be a size 8-10 as the photographic knitwear has already been made. Height would ideally be 5ft 6 or above.
The photographs will be used on The Croft House website to represent our knitwear to customers all over the world and may also be used in advertising material.
Candidates should email a recent face and clothed full-length photograph along with their name and contact details to models@thecrofthouse.com. Professional photographs are not required.
Could you be our next model or know someone who could?
